Here are a few favorites:
Single-serving packets of nut butters such as almond, hazelnut, or peanut. Look for options with the least amount of added sugar.
Pistachios, which have lots of protein, cholesterol-busting monounsaturated fat, fiber and energy-boosting B vitamins.
Edamame, an underripe green soybean packed with folate, vitamin K, iron, and magnesium. (You can find bags of frozen shelled edamame in the freezer section of most supermarkets.)
Jerky. The brand Krave has good flavors including chipotle and is also MSG-free.
