Sugar is a major nutrition topic for 2017.
It is everywhere, including many “healthy” and “natural” snacks. To help minimize your sugar intake, The American Academy of Family Physicians recommends checking the ingredient list on a food or drink package to look for the following added sugars:
Cane juice and cane syrup
Corn sweetener and corn syrup
Fruit juice concentrates
Granulated white sugar
High-fructose corn syrup
